Sean Medsker spoke to the Senior Football players and Senior Cheerleaders about leadership. He was
a tri-captain of the Marshall Lions. Sean did a GREAT job giving the players and cheerleaders food for thought after
graduation.

Dennis Raetz gave an inspirational talk about being a leader on the field as well as off the field.

TEAMW . . .

Spirit Day was great! Our football players are really talented on the field as well as on the street - the Electric
Slide was a sight to see. The watermelon eating contest for the seniors was won by Jerad Peel!!

Marshall Football had a great day on Saturday August 18, 2007. First, we were uptown
for practice and then to the cook-out. Thanks to everyone involved and a special thanks to Larry and Michelle Johnson
and Donnie and Janet Robinson for their hospitality on their property.

Eric White, Marshall Football Alumni and die hard football fan, brought the Wizard of Oz to Marshall.
What did the scarecrow, tin man, lion and Dorothy have in common with the Marshall Lions? Teamwork!! No one saw
any player with an "S" on their chest!!

TEA . . .

Jenna Trudeau's great-great uncle (99 years young), Coach Sockler from Robinson, gave the football players
some advice for the Red Hill game, "believe you can" and just go "WIN". We were truly in the presence of Greatness.
Coach Sockler's records speak for themselves.
